Ford Edge 2010 Review – In the affordable midsize SUV class there is Ford Edge 2010, which is a rebuilt from the previous year. Compete with cars from Buick, Chevy, Nissan, and Toyota, Ford offered a car with good performance and a comfortable interior. Edge received awards from several magazines. This is because Edge is one of Ford’s models which got top-selling in the market. Although not the best in its class, but Ford Edge made a choice worthy of a family car. With an affordable price you get a comfortable, good performance, and stylish SUV.
Edge 2010 gives a little step forward for the exterior. Unlike most traditional SUV body, Edge adds exterior features of modernity and sporty. Although the model is not sporty at all but Edge provides sports trim options for you who like sporty style. Adding wide diameter wheels and two exhausts in one car are some of the features on the Edge Sport. While at the interior, Edge 2010 comes with a comfortable and spacious cabin. There are 5- seats wrapped by plastic and cargo space is large enough. Although only wrapped in plastic (and this is a little disappointing) but this is not too bad because the plastic material used in quality.
Ford Edge 2010 is supported by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that produces 265-hp. Edge provides a choice of AWD and FWD drivetrains. Edge AWD capable of reaching 60 mph from 0 in 8.4 seconds. For safety features, Edge got excellent scores. Edge has also added blind spot mirrors and SOS-Post Crash Alert System features. 4 standard trims are available for the Ford Edge 2010; SE, SEL, Limited and Sport. For the SE trim is only available FWD drivetrains. As for SEL, Limited, and Sport trim there are 2 options of drivetrains; FWD and AWD. Ford offered $ 27,420 to $ 35,770 for its Edge models.
